You can now buy a gingerbread man made of gin

Sounds refreshing.

Paul Moore

Know anyone that loves gin and sweets?

‘Tis the season to be jolly. Gin-gin-gin-gin-gin-gin-gin-gin-gin.

Ok, those aren’t the exact words to the beloved Christmas carol but there are so many gin-related products on the market that we’re genuinely wondering if the three wise men actually brought gin as a gift for Jesus.

We’ll re-read our bibles and get back to you on that one.

Well, continuing with this gin-tastic trend, Gin Mare has partnered with Hackney bakery Violet to give the traditional gingerbread man an update.

Yep, that’s right. You can now buy and eat a GINgerbread man while you shop. What a time to be alive.

Combining the classic flavours of gingerbread with the distinctive juniper and herbaceous notes synonymous with Gin Mare, this could be a tasty stocking filler for the gin lovers in your life.

Ok, what does it taste like?

Well, we’re told that it’s “A soft and chewy biscuit, with subtle undertones of bitter orange and molasses. This is complemented by icing, juniper sugar and a pinch of sea salt and candied rosemary; a nod to Gin Mare’s Mediterranean heritage for a tasty twist that’s bound to make mouths water.”

The GINgerbread Man will be sold at Violet’s store in Hackney and Broadway Market stall throughout December and it’s priced at £3.80.

Again, as is the norm with any alcohol-related product, please be responsible.
