Eh, yes please!

The Bank Holiday weekend is here, and the temperatures are continuing to climb.

And that means there’s one thing in particular that’s on our minds: ice cream.

After all, when it’s hitting 20C and above – is there any way that’s better to cool down?

Minus swimming. And maybe air con.

Okay, well it’s at least the tastiest way to cool down.

That’s why we were particularly excited to find out that Dublin ice-cream parlour, Scoop, has released two new flavours in time for the Bank Holiday Weekend.

A spokesperson for the gelato spot – which has a location in Ranelagh and one on Anger Street – unveiled the sweet treat on Friday afternoon.

Turning two of our all-time favourite breakfast cereals into gelato? Our mouths are watering already.

“NEW FLAVOURS! Frosties and Coco pops! Your favourite breakfast cereals transformed into delicious homemade gelato.”

And it looks like the idea of breakfast for dessert has gone down a treat with social media users.

Since the photo was first posted, it has gotten dozens of comments and more than 200 likes.

The rest of the Bank Holiday weekend is set to be a scorcher, with temperatures reaching 22C in some areas of the country on Sunday – and 20C on Monday.

So, basically, it’s time to treat yourself.
