Planning your debs is the best part of sixth year.
You have your pre-debs before the exam prep gets too hectic, and then there’s the real thing to look forward to for the rest of the year. Plus, outfit hunting comes as a nice break from the stress of the dreaded Leaving Cert.
Of course, that stress could be lifted even more if your entire debs was paid for. Vodafone are looking to give one lucky school €10k towards their debs. That’s a whole ten THOUSAND euro, ladies and gents. Not to be trifled with.

This competition is super easy to enter. To be in with a chance to win the big bucks, here’s what you have to do.
- Nominate someone in your class to register your school with Vodafone here.
- Round up 30 more of your classmates and get them to switch to Vodafone X – you have two weeks to do this after registering your school.
- Finally, fill out a form telling Vodafone the number of students who have moved to the network (Vodafone will send you this form by text once you register).
Every school with 30 or more signups before the closing date on Friday, 30 November will be entered into the draw. One lucky winner will be chosen at random from the draw and will win that gorgeous €10k for your debs.
The Vodafone X plan only costs €20 a month and students can get 20GB of 4G data plus either Spotify premium, unlimited weekends, or Sky Sports Mobile TV, so really there’s no reason not to sign up.
