Ugh!

One of the most frustrating things about a headache, is the extensive list of things that could POSSIBLY be causing it.

Your mum will tell you you’re dehydrated, your boyfriend says your stressed, your housemate says it’s your period, but now we have another possible cause to add to the list.

Your bra.

We all know that a supportive bra is key when it comes to looking after your breast tissue, and back and neck muscles if you are well-endowed.

But we had NO idea a supportive bra could be your biggest weapon in fighting headaches, if you are a big breasted woman.

According to Tim Allardyce from Surrey Physio, wearing an unsupportive bra frequently leads to headaches, because your neck and back muscles will need to work harder to support the weight of your breasts.

He explained to BT.com

“As soon as the neck muscles become overworked, you are far more likely to get headaches (known as cervicogenic headaches, or neck in origin headaches).”

Yet ANOTHER reason to get properly fitted.
