This home hack will cure your hay fever, but it sounds really PAINFUL

Would you try it though?

As I sit here typing, my eyes are itchy, my nose is running and I’m on about 14 sneezes per minute.

Ah, the joys of the summer months.

It is genuinely my favourite time of year (excluding Christmas, obviously), but DAMN that pollen count.

Damn it to the flaming pits of hell.

Hay fever has been a plague on my existence for as long as I can recall – but there may be hope yet.

As helpful as my daily intake of nasal spray and antihistamines can be, I need more.

I need a cure.

According to a story published by The Mirror, nettles may be the key to banishing hay fever for good.

I warn you now though, this is not what you think.

I’m not talking about some form of nettle supplement or smoothie…

Facebook user, Goran Pavlovic, recently posted a status where he claimed to be hay fever free, as a result of stinging himself with nettles.

Yep, the man willingly rubs his skin off nettles.

“All my life I suffered from hay fever. I pretty much chocked to death every summer.”

“Then, few years ago, an old man (crazy old man according to my wife) told me to try nettles.”

Goran continued to explain, “basically, as soon as the spring starts, he told me, and the first nettles sprout out, pick a bunch and sting myself with them.”

NOT for the faint hearted.

“Do that once a week until the end of autumn. Apparently this would make my immune system concentrate on nettles and forget about the pollen. To my wife’s horror and the amusement of the fellow walkers in parks and forests, I soon started the “therapy”.

And while this bizarre method definitely worked for Goran, we can’t help but be a bit sceptical.

You know what they say – don’t try this at home kids.

(Unless your really desperate.)
