Being a mother is as rewarding as it is tough, and many of us are guilty of taking our Mums for granted. Women often say that you cannot fully appreciate the role of a mother, until you yourself, become one. This video is a touching tribute to Mums everywhere.
American man, Matt Bieler, was so in awe of the role his sister and mother played that he decided to dedicate this short film to them both, and all the stay-at-home mothers across the globe.
‘3 Queens’ follows the life of three mothers from different states in the US and documents their daily lives from the eyes of their children. Matt captures many tender and beautiful moments in the two-and-a-half-minute video, all of which is voiced over by the children.
Matt told The Stir online: “I found myself in every day awe of my sister who is one of the mothers in the film and her daily grind of raising three young ones. And it made me think back to what a superstar my own mother was raising myself and my two sisters as a young stay-at-home and the selflessness that entails.”
