When I was a wee nipper, my mother said, “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” Since then, I’ve spent my life in a deep reflective silence wracking my brains for nice things to say to the fools that surround me. It’s difficult at the best of times and more often than not, my sarcastic nature surfaces and I cause mild to extreme offence. So, when we learned that today is “Say Something Nice” day, it seemed only fitting that I should be tasked with writing this piece. Quelle genius.
