Now that’s what we call a good deed.
One taxi man in Dublin has restored our faith in people this week after he did something pretty sound altogether for a man who took his cab home from the city centre.
Peter Caul, who works in a pub in the city, got a taxi home from work on Tuesday, but somehow managed to drop €50 as he exited the car.
Thinking it was gone forever, you can imagine Peter’s surprise when this arrived through the letter box of his house this morning.
Peter’s sister Kim, who sent us in the lovely story, told us: “This morning this letter was posted through our door with the €50 inside.
“It definitely restored my faith in humanity. What a decent guy!”
Now that’s what we call a gentleman.
