This image below needs no words for it says so much. It shows a team of doctors bowing as a sign of respect to the late Liang Yaoyi who died from a brain tumour in June.
Liang, from Shenzhen, China told his mother Li Qun before his death that he wished to donate his organs so he could help others.
“There are many people doing great things in the world,” he said according to China Daily. “They are great, and I want to be a great kid too.”
His mother respected her son’s wishes and doctors saved eleven-year-old Liang’s kidneys and liver for donation. The image was later uploaded to Reddit and shared on various Chinese media outlets.
