However, one company in the state of Wisconsin is giving its employees gift cards to buy guns.

BuzzFeed News has reported that BenShot glassware employees will receive gift cards worth $500 to a gun shop of their choice.
Rather than your typical Christmas cash bonus…
Each team member will have to pass a background check.
The company founder, Ben Wolfgram, told BuzzFeed that he has also introduced a safety and protocol course for employees.
Cool.
Ben Wolfgram said that he wanted to “give a gift…of personal protection to keep employees safe.”
Two of the employees have turned down the offer of a firearm, and chosen to accept a generic gift card instead.
