Fancy A Guy Online? Maybe You Should Give Him A ‘Deep-Like’ …

Would you be tempted to start scrolling?

We’ve heard of Tinder, Plenty of Fish, and dating websites, but now it seems Instagram is becoming the newest tool for finding a potential partner online.

The latest trend to get you noticed by your crush is sending out a message of a ‘deep like’.

The idea behind the trend is that you go to the Instagram profile of your crush, and after scrolling through the shots of every dinner, cat, dog or inspired hilarious quote, you like or ‘heart’ the first picture of them on their profile.

The trick worked for this couple – who wed following an Instagram flirting session.

We’re not sure how we feel about someone scrolling back through our phone to find a first picture or selfie (surely a text would be easier?!) but the latest trend is proving a hit for couples looking to make a move without having to form the right words.

The new deep liking ritual probably comes with the creepier realisation that almost anybody can access your images unless your account is on private.

So deep liking, might turn to deep loving. Or at least flirting.

And we thought swiping right was our only option?
