Losing a mother is never easy.
For 11-year-old Emily Long, her mother’s recent passing after a long and arduous battle with cancer was heartbreaking.
It’s an event that inspired her to turn to music and with the help of her father Jerry she wrote this touching tribute song.
Father Jerry says:
“My wife passed away nine weeks ago tomorrow, so were grieving, but we love expressing our feelings through music.”
“We were 5 years married and had the perfect relationship, but unfortunately, we were robbed of our beautiful Liz.”

A tiff between Emily and Jerry at the end of the video is a heartwarming reminder that children will still be children and despite all his hard work, poor Dad is still criticized.
We’re sure mum Liz would have been incredibly proud.
