There’s a reason it’s called the Emerald Isle.
Sometimes, we forget how gorgeous our own little part of the world is, but a video sent into us by Her.ie reader Carmel Mannion brought it all back in absolutely stunning glory.
Carmel and her husband Garry headed off on the Wild Atlantic Way on Garry’s motorbike last summer and had an absolute ball.
The Galway duo loved it so much, they’ve decided to make it an annual trip Carmel told Her.ie.
“We’ve a great little treasure trove of an island!” she said.
