A four-year old saved her pregnant mum’s life after she suffered an epileptic seizure while heavily pregnant.
Centerria Manning says she told her daughter Calise how to phone emergency services before, but was surprised at how calmly and responsibly her daughter behaved.
According to CNN, Calise rang 911 and asked for medical help, while explaining to the operator that her mum was having a seizure.
The dispatcher recalled Calise on the phone, telling media how she outlined the situation:
"She's shaking and she's having a baby. My mom is really pregnant and she's having a boy and she really needs help."
When Calise was asked her age, she told the dispatcher:
"Four, and I'm almost getting bigger."
Thanks to her daughter’s quick actions, Centerria was taken to hospital where she later made a full recovery, giving birth to a baby boy.
Centerria told CNN that she had thanked her little girl for helping her and being so brave, and her reply?
"I told you I was going to take care of you if something happened."
