Heading out tonight? Here’s how to avoid that hangover tomorrow

Could it really be this simple to avoid the fear?!

Cathy Donohue

We love our Saturday nights out but what we don’t love is feeling HORRIBLE the next morning.

You might be familiar with that fragile feeling where your mouth feels like sandpaper and your head is throbbing.

The good news is there’s a pretty simple way to counterbalance the effects of too much alcohol, all you have to do is get enough sleep.

A recent study conducted of over 21,000 men and women found that alcohol made no difference to their productivity levels, provided that they had seven hours sleep the night before.

A group of scientists from The University of Cambridge and Rand Europe used employee data from companies that took part in “Britain’s Healthiest Company” competition, organised by Vitality Health.

The results showed that those who slept less than six hours per night were considerably less productive than those who slept for seven or eight hours.

Neither alcohol, smoking or diet were not linked to productivity so go forth and enjoy your Friday, just remember to get your beauty sleep!
