But anyway, if you're like me then you'll be buzzing to know, times are changing (hello 2019) and you can now actually hire a photographer to follow you around Rome as not only your own personal travel guide but your designated photo taker with an eye for the perfect snap.
Thanks to Roma Experience, you can now purchase an Instagram boyfriend while visiting the city. A man who is willing to capture those candid shots and follow you around the Italian capital.
Speaking of the new offering, Davide Bolognesi, Marketing Manager at Roma Experience, said:
“We know that social media has become a hugely influential factor for travellers. “People today are experiencing the world through their camera, and via photographs, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, after all as the old saying goes, ‘a picture speaks a thousand words. “It is important for us to keep up with the continually developing desires of our travellers, and as high-quality holiday snaps become an ever more important factor, we want to ensure we can provide that.”
The Instagram Boyfriend, however, isn't cheap at €350 for three hours, but again, if you live for the pics, this might be just what you need.
