“Is there a dictionary of emojis?”
One poor Irish mammy was left feeling a little bit dazed and confused this week as she tried to figure out how to use the emojis on her phone.
Dermot Dolan sent the lads over at JOE.ie the screen grabs of his family’s WhatsApp group and it makes for fantastic reading.
“My mam has always tried her best to keep up to date with the latest trends, even going so far as downloading Snapchat,” he explained to the lads.
“But the use of emojis is something she still hasn’t got a grip on. So, in a recent conversation on our family WhatsApp, she says that she struggles to understand what some emojis actually mean, and my sister does her best to show her.
“I couldn’t help myself but laugh reading the conversation they had.”
To be fair to him, you won’t be able to stop yourself from giggling either.
Poor mammy.
We love her for it.
