John Lewis Unveil Christmas Ad For This Year and It's Out of This World
Every year we wait in anticipation to see what John Lewis comes up with for their Christmas advertisement.
In fact, we'd go so far as to say it's one of the highlights of the entire year. (Don't judge us.)
This morning the retailer unveiled their festive creation, which reportedly cost £1 million and was filmed at Warner Brothers studio in Hertfordshire, on Twitter.
The concept is 'The Man on the Moon' and it is told with a gorgeous cover of Oasis' Half The World Away by Aurora, a 19-year-old Norwegian singer.
We may have shed a tear or two… or more... we're still crying.

Rachel Swift, head of brand marketing at John Lewis, explained: “It is has become part of our handwriting as a brand. It’s about storytelling through music and emotion.
“The sentiment behind that hasn’t changed – and that is quite intentional. The strategy behind our campaigns is always about thoughtful gifting.”
Previous concepts from John Lewis that have also made us cry buckets include Monty the Penguin as well as The Bear and the Hare.
Here are how people are reacting to the latest one, which raises awareness for Age UK, on Twitter...
