Brrrrrrr.
Although we didn’t get a white Christmas, snow has finally arrived in January.
Temperatures have dropped considerably this week and the bitter chill in the air has resulted in some heavy snowfall.
Although we have yet to see any in Dublin (apparently it might happen later), it’s winter wonderland in Cork, Galway, Tyrone, Armagh, Kerry and Tipperary.
Here are just some of the pictures that are being tweeted and Instagrammed around the country.

More importantly, these weather conditions are likely to last for the next 24 hours so take extra care on the roads.
Careful now. Snow and ice will lead to some treacherous roads over the next 24 hours. This was the Glenshane Pass earlier today. pic.twitter.com/pLEFbcbSQW
