Rachel Graham could be described as one of the more senior players on the Raheny side, at 24 years of age. She has been ever present in the Raheny United senior team for the last seven years and is an invaluable asset to the club. Rachel has played with the club since her under 12 days, so is a loyal servant to the side. Originally a tough tackling midfielder, she has recently bein converted to an astute centre-half come sweeper. She is a current member of the National Senior team and has won all possible honours at senior and junior club level, as well as playing in the Champions League. Not one to be pigeon-holed, Rachel is also an accomplished camogie player. She is at present working on getting her coaching badges, so her expertise will be passed down to future club stars. Definitely one to watch for the final!
Raheny United take on Castlebar Celtic in the FAI Umbro Womens Cup Final, Sunday 3rd Nov, Kick Off 12.20. Tickets can be purchased here.
