Interesting...

Rebecca McKnight

Teeth falling out, being chased by someone, finding yourself naked in public – these are just a few of the common scenarios that crop up in people’s dreams.

The Sleep Matters Club (sponsored by Dreams) has now revealed the 10 most common dreams and what they can mean.

Check out the list below and find out what your subconscious might be telling you…

Teeth falling out – This can reflect a person’s anxiety about their appearance and how others see them. It can also highlight a fear of rejection or embarrassment as well as a sense of powerlessness.

Being chased – Running away from something shows that you want to get away from something that is causing fear or anxiety in real life. However it could also signify that you are avoiding something.

Being unable to find a toilet – This could reveal that you’re finding it hard to express your needs or they are not being met because you’re putting others first. This scenario can also indicate that a person wants more privacy.

Naked in public – This can signify that a person is feeling anxious, can’t find themselves or are being wrongly accused.

Flying – If you dream about a difficult flight, it could mean that there is something stopping you from moving on. If you are afraid to fly in the dream, it can suggest that you are having problems reaching the goals you’ve set yourself.

Falling – This common one is said to signify insecurity and anxiety about a situation. If you enjoy the sensation of falling, it apparently shows you’re not afraid of change.

The exam you didn’t prepare for – Again this can signify a lack of confidence or alternatively someone’s inability to move on to the next stage in life.

An out of control vehicle – This could represent the direction you are taking in life and may suggest that you are off track.

Finding an unused room – This tends to point towards new opportunities and abilities that you’ve realised. If the room is white, it indicates that you are ready for a new beginning.

Running late – Dreaming about running late points towards worry and anxiety. The feeling that you are running out of time could be your subconscious telling you that it is never too late to do the things you want to do in life.
