Snapchat is great, what’s not so great is the fact that it’s soon going to start playing ads in between stories. Like seriously.
According to Ad Week, Snapchat Partners is the new advertising platform introduced by the popular messaging app.
The ads won’t be appearing for a while yet, at least a couple of weeks, so that Snapchat can work with marketers to ensure the “quality of the ads” is top class.

Thankfully, the ads won ‘t play within a single story (for now anyway) and instead, they will start after you’ve watched one story before starting another.
This way, you have the option to swipe past the ads *YAY* in the same way as you would with any story.
Full-screen and full sound, we see this becoming pretty annoying before long.
