Well now you can wear your adoration for the man who taught Elvis martial arts with a fab t-shirt. They’re being sold in aid of Dublin woman Denise Ryan, who has been battling Lyme disease and needs 12 months of intensive treatments in Seattle because her case is so severe.
She writes on her GoFundMe page:
“My immune system, organs, digestive and central nervous system are under constant attack.
I’m completely debilitated and after countless doctors, specialists and thousands upon thousands of euro spent seeking answers all over Ireland, the UK, the US and Canada, I have found hope in Seattle after previously managing to raise enough funds to go there for 3 months.”
“My medical doctor there specialises in my particular infections, but due to the severity of the my case I need to go for 12 months of intensive treatment. This would involve IV antibiotics, injections, consultations, testing and monitoring, nutrients and therapies to help my body deal with the infections, medications and severe malabsorption. I would also need some home care while out there as I need help with showering and basic daily tasks.”
