Remembering to do this after sex can help stop yeast infections

Anything to avoid this horror.

yeast infections

Were you aware of this?

Although food might be the last thing on your mind after a particularly steamy sex session, it should be, that is if you want to prevent yeast infections occurring.

Getting the right type of sustenance, probiotic-rich foods to be exact, after sex helps to restore the good bacteria found in the body.

Yogurt might be the obvious choice but if that doesn’t float your boat, you can stock up on other fermented foods including miso soup, kimchi and kombucha.

It makes sense really because if you’re not replenishing the good bacteria that keeps yeast in check, things get out of control.

Once you feel vaginal irritation, burning and/or pain with urination, chances are you’ve developed a yeast infection but by taking precautionary steps, you should be able to avoid them.

Stock up on the foods mentioned above, opt for loose, comfortable cotton underwear and make sure the vaginal area is dry, particularly after showering.

Hopefully soon, nasty yeast infections will be a long-forgotten memory, banished to the back of your mind forever more.
