Woman majorly overreacts after friend chooses unusual baby name

Another day, another social media row.

This latest one comes after one couple decided to name their child Tinkerbell, an unusual choice to be fair, but their friend's reaction to this announcement is out of line. The friend in question took to forum Mumsnet to query if she was being unreasonable to want to 'shoot' her friend for his choice of baby name. Now, we assume this was just a turn of phrase but joking about guns under any circumstance is completely irresponsible. In the comments below the thread, people have taken her remarks in jest with most readers agreeing that it's a name the child will find difficult to deal with when she grows up. "Am I being unreasonable to want to shoot my friend for naming his daughter Tinkerbell? "I know I am actually BU as it's none of my business etc. Also shooting people is generally not the way to approach such matters. "I feel so sorry for the poor kid. She's going to go through torture at school. Not to mention thee rest of her life. Imagine a high court judge called Tinkerbell".

One said it's okay as a child but it will be tough for her when she grows up, others have said you can shorten this moniker to Belle and another user suggested that perhaps she could go by her middle name instead. Despite our love for Peter Pan, we have to admit this name veers on the ridiculous but each to their own when all is said and done...
