Getting ready for any event takes a lot of time, effort, and - in some cases - blood, sweat, and tears. If it's not spending hours getting your hair perfectly tousled for a big night out with the girls, it's trying to get your make-up just right for a hot date you've had lined up for ages. At one point in all our lives, we've been stood up. And it's the worst feeling in the WORLD.

When you've been stood up, it's hard to know which stance to assume: whether it be the strong, silent, no response that many of us are somehow capable of doing, or the batshit crazy reaction where you lose the head at the unlucky person for leaving you on your lonesome. There really two types of people in this world.

One girl has trumped all reactions to being stood up after spending a lot of time preparing for the big date, and her face says exactly what we're all thinking. Imgur user somethingsomethingDANGER uploaded the conversation that she and her other half had when she was informed of the devastating decision. Having spent a lot of time shaving, exfoliating and moisturising, the girl was left more than annoyed that all her intensive beauty efforts were in vain and the interactions that follow are just hilarious. Just LOOK at that face, we wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of her temper. The last message states "read 11:10PM", and it's not confirmed if her other half replied or apologised. Judging by her selfies he's lucky to still be alive. Rather him than us...
