Well, I regret to inform you that we could now be looking at something of similar proportions again, judging by my Whatapp convo history last night at least.
Let me explain. See, in an audio clip recently uploaded to Twitter you can hear a male operator saying one word – but it’s not just one word, because some people think it is one of two. ‘Laurel’ or ‘Yanny’.
That’s one word being spoken but with two interpretations. Sheer madness.

“I hear ‘Yanny.’ The sound isn’t even close to ‘Laurel’…I do not hear the ‘r,’” one person tweeted.
“Laurel wtf,” another replied.
And the discourse only escalated from there.
