There’s something truly exhilarating about heading to concert – the buzz, the excitement, the music… It can be incredibly thrilling!
But there are some people who attend concerts who do stuff that drive us absolutely bonkers.
From talking to drink spilling, here are 10 things people really need to stop doing at gigs:
1) Talking during songs
The average ticket price varies between about €40 up, for some it reaches even €80 in price – so why are you talking during the concert?!
2) Holding up iPads to record the gig
This one really baffles us – Why don’t you just watch it on YouTube instead??
3) People getting far too handsy
Ok, we get that you’re excited about the act, we are too. But please keep your hands to yourself!
4) The people who insist that they need to make it to the front
We were here first, if you wanted to be in the front row, you should have queued earlier.
5) The stage stormers
That’s right the people who jump up on stage mid-song and disrupt the show for both the band/musician and the audience. Please stop.
6) The drink spillers
Not only do they spill their drinks and top of you, but they also manage to knock your drink out of your hands as well.
7) People who stand up during a seated concert
Now is not the time to stand and block people’s view! It’s not even for an applause!
8) Those who sit in other people’s seats
Not only do they claim your seats as their own, but they’re even reluctant to move away!
9) People who don’t turn off their phones
We can excuse a quick text but no one wants to hear your full blown chat with your mates mid-concert!
10) People who feel the need to educate others during the songs
“This song is actually from their 2009 album, they actually performed an acoustic version on Jools Holland” – You know who you are.
