50 Cent got arrested the other night for the most bizarre reason

Mad!

Note to self, don’t curse in the Carribean.

50 Cent landed himself in a spot of bother after a recent performance in the Carribean. He was arrested following an appearance at St. Kitts Music Festival because he cursed on stage.

According to TMZ, the rapper had been warned to avoid using bad language while on stage in front of 40,000 people, but couldn’t resist slipping in his rude lyrics.

It was during a performance of one of his best-known songs, P.I.M.P, when he neglected to leave out the curse words from the chorus.

“I don’t know what you heard about me
But a b*tch can’t get a dollar out of me
No Cadillac, no perms, you can’t see
That I’m a motherf***ing P-I-M-P”

Saying those words led to the police showing up and arresting 50 Cent and a member of his entourage.

Following his arrest, he was granted bail and fined $5,000 EC, which is roughly $1,850 US dollars, which TMZ say he paid before flying back home to the States today.

His rep said, “for future trips to St. Kitts he will leave the motherf****** in the United States.”

The local police updated their Facebook page with the following statement on the arrest:

“Curtis Jackson (50 cent) an American Rap artist who performed at the St. Kitts Music Festival was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of making use of indecent language during his performance on Saturday night (June 25).

Jackson was granted bail in the amount of $5,000.00 EC and was ordered to surrender his travel documents and appear in court on Monday, (June 27).”
