It’s what she deserves.

According to numerous reports, music superstar Adele is set to get her own residency show in Las Vegas.

A source told The Mail on Sunday that the Someone Like You singer is preparing for a lengthy residency in the City of Sin once Covid-19 restrictions permit it.

The insider said: “Adele has been talking to musicians that she has worked with before to gauge their availability, to see whether they could be in Vegas for the gigs.

“It’s all very exciting. It would make her a lot of money, but it would also mean she could have a routine. It would be hugely lucrative for her but also really fun.

“She loves performing live and there would be no shortage of people travelling to see her once the Covid restrictions are dropped.”

If true, the Vegas residency would mark the Welsh singer’s long-awaited return to live music.

The last time she performed live was at Wembley Stadium in 2017. She was subsequently forced to withdraw from her final two shows at the venue due to vocal chord damage.

The cancellation led many fans to worry that Adele might never sing live again. However, the singer eased some of those fears last year during her stint guest-hosting on Saturday Night Live.

During her opening monologue she explained why she decided to host the show instead of being the musical guest.

“My album’s not finished, and I’m also scared to be both,” she said. “I’d rather put on some wigs, have a glass of wine or six and just see what happens.”

At the time, she hinted that new music was on the way.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “I’m going back in my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am. Peace out ’til next year.”
