Adele is taking a ten year break from touring

She has a good reason though.

Noooo.

One artist everyone should see live in concert is Adele. From her ridiculously powerful voice to her banter and comedy on the stage, it’s an unforgettable experience.

She is currently on her Adele live 2016 tour which has 107 concerts. It began in February in Los Angeles and won’t be finishing up until November 21st in Phoenix (a rescheduled date after cancelling in August due to illness). So we’re not surprised that Adele wants to take a long break from her life on the road.

Anyone who has not yet seen her, might have to wait 10 years before they get to experience it.

Adele is reportedly planning on taking a ten year break from touring to spend time with her son Angelo, who is almost four.

A source told the Sun:

“Angelo is the number one priority for Adele. He is the most important thing in her life.

She has brought him everywhere with her on tour but as he is starting school next year, he won’t be able to join her any more.

Adele doesn’t want to miss a moment of Angelo growing up and it’s an easy decision for her to give up touring for him.

Right now she is saying she won’t do another massive world tour like the current one for another 10 years.”

It was also reported that Adele would be open to a resident slot in Las Vegas where she could stay in one place to bring up her son.

“A regular Vegas show appeals to her because it is in one place and she would be able to maintain a normal life, but it won’t happen for a number of years.”

So far icons like Elton John, Prince and Celine Dion have all had shows in Vegas, with Britney Spears most recently taking to the stage there, so we think Adele would fit right in.

But we’d like her to come back to Ireland first, ever if it isn’t for a whole ten years.
