Iggy Azalea has hit out at Eminem for threatening to rape her in the lyrics of a new track.
A 30 second clip of Marshall Mathers’ Bad Meets Evil was released on iTunes yesterday and includes lyrics like “So what’s it gon’ be? Put that s*** away Iggy. You don’t wanna blow that rape whistle on me. Scream! I love it. ‘Fore I get lost with the gettin’ off.”
The song also include other misogynistic lyrics and has attracted criticism since it emerged online.
However, Iggy was not taking the reference lying down and took to Twitter to hit out at the trend of male artists threatening women in their material
im bored of the old men threatening young women as entertainment trend and much more interested in the young women getting $ trend. zzzz
