Brit Awards 2015: And The Winners Are…

Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith won two awards each

Madonna may have stolen the show with her epic fall but there were actually some winners at last night’s Brit Awards.

Ed Sheeran took home two titles, Best British Male Solo Artist and Best British Album of the Year for X, as did Sam Smith who won British Breakthrough and the Global Success Award.

Sam Smith had another successful night.

Royal Blood saw off strong competition from One Direction to claim the prize for Best British Group however Niall Horan and co did win Best British Artist Video of the year for You And I.

Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ collaboration on Uptown Funk saw the former collect the award for Best British Single.

Paloma Faith won Best British Female Solo Artist.

Doing it for the ladies, Paloma Faith collected the Brit for Best British Female Solo Artist. She beat the likes of Lily Allen and Ella Henderson.

As for the international categories, Taylor Swift was named Best International Female Solo Artist, Pharrell Williams collected the male equivalent and the Foo Fighters won Best International Group.
