David Bowie’s Family Have Released A Statement As Second Tribute Concert Announced

Following the passing of David Bowie on Monday, his family have remained quiet on social media in the ensuing days.

He is survived by wife Iman, daughter Lexi, and son Duncan from his first marriage to Angie Bowie.

Last night, a statement was posted on his official Facebook page from his family thanking everyone for their support: ‘We are overwhelmed by and grateful for the love and support shown throughout the world.’

They also asked that their privacy be respected as they grieve.

The Carnegie Hall memorial concert due to take place on March 31st sold out so quickly, that a second date was announced. According to Billboard, it will take place on April 1st, in Radio City Music Hall.
