We love a bit of Ed Sheeran here at the Her.ie offices so we have high standards for anyone who covers his songs.
Luckily, Isaac Butler from St Michael’s College in Dublin blew us away with his cover of Sheeran’s I See Fire. The video was recorded as part of a weekly initiative by the music department at the secondary school to give a wider platform for students to show off their musical prowess.
After seeing this, it’s safe to say that the future of Irish music is in good hands!
