One Irish Ed Sheeran fan has taken matters into her own hands this week and set up a Facebook page dedicated to getting the hit singer to Thomond Park in Limerick.
Her.ie reader Michelle Hennessy set up the page last week after she was unable to get tickets to the Thinking Out Loud singer’s Croke Park gig.
“I know there are so many people out there who are desperate for this to happen,” she explained. “Not only would it be amazing for all of his fans, but also for Ireland to see more of his concerts being held here.”
“I set this page up in my disappointment over not getting tickets for his concerts in Dublin but then realised that it would be even better if we could bring him somewhere else to give other venues in the country a chance!” she continued.
“Some of the best concerts I’ve been to were in Thomond Park such as Pink and Bruce Springsteen. People might think that this is a lost cause, but Ed has proved time and again that he will do so much for his fans, so it’s definitely worth a shot!
“People have been so positive about this already so hopefully Ed will do it!” she finished.
The Facebook page is getting more and more followers on a daily basis, but we wonder what Ed will have to say about it all!
