Turn the speakers up – our favourite honorary Irish man has some big news to share.
Ed Sheeran has announced that Jamie Lawson will release his album on Sheeran’s label on October 9th.
Lawson is the first signing to Ed’s new label, Gingerbread Records.

The first single from the album is Wasn’t Expecting That, the song that shot 39-year-old singer-songwriter Lawson to “overnight success” after years of gigging.
Lawson, from Plymouth, originally released the song in Ireland in 2011, where it climbed to the top of the Irish singles chart.
One fan video on YouTube sets the tune to the opening scenes of Up. SOMEHOW, it makes it even sadder.
