We’ve been big Ed Sheeran fans for a long time at Her.ie, but after seeing the video for Thinking Out Loud last week, we’re kind of in love.
Not only does Ed sounds gorgeous in this song, but he’s got some serious moves.
Speaking about the video, Ed said that he was inspired by Strictly Come Dancing and decided he would learn to dance for the video instead of hiring professionals.
“At first I was going to get two talented dancers but as was the idea was formed, I thought hmm maybe I should have a crack at this. If rugby players can do it on Strictly Come Dancing then maybe I can too”.
However Ed admitted that it wasn’t easy and he was left frustrated as he tried to perfect his technique, with him and his partner even banging heads at one point.
“In the lead-up to finishing this video, I was so frustrated. I have never wanted to quit something so much” said Ed.
We’re really glad he kept going because the finished product is quite something. Check out the behind-the-scenes footage below.
