Musician Ed Sheeran will reportedly be making his acting debut later this year.
According to reports, the Don’t singer has agreed to take a role in a Bollywood movie called Happy New Year 2.
The 24-year-old singer played a sell-out gig in Indian city Mumbai earlier this week and afterwards, got chatting to Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan, who starred in last year’s Happy New Year, along with director Farah Khan.
“It was a surprise when my cousin Zubin called me from London to say that Ed Sheeran was going to be in town and wanted to meet up with me and my Bollywood friends,” said Farah.
“It was very gracious of Abhishek to let me bring Ed and his team to his home,” Farah continued. “Not only did Ed hit it off with Abhishek, but before I left, they both also decided that Ed would act in Happy New Year 2,” The Mirror reports.
