A novel way to support the arts during these uncertain times.
A Facebook Live concert featuring many Irish artists is happening this week.
A whole host of musicians will be taking to Facebook this Wednesday March 18 for a one of its kind event to sing a load of original tunes without ever leaving their homes.
After all, staying in is the new going out.
Musicians Emma Langford, Sara Ryan, Jordan Run, Beyond The Wash, Paddy Dennehy, Eve Clague, Mide Houlihan and Dylan Howe (Rowan) will be hitting up the Facebook Live concert to show that staying inside doesn’t actually need to be all doom and gloom.
It can actually be pretty fun too, lads. And you can support the arts while you’re there.
A donation page has been set up ahead of the event, with all funds raised being split evenly between the acts involved.
Each artist will have a 20 minute set, meaning that audiences are in for a considerable number of hours of stellar Irish entertainment.
