Forbidden Fruit just announced the first set of acts for May festival in 2020

Bring it ON!

Denise Curtin

Forbidden Fruit is turning 10 years old.

And so, to celebrate, they’re planning to pull out all the stops with a stellar festival to trump previous years.

Set on the grounds of the Irish Museum Of Modern Art, Royal Hospital Kilmainham, today, Forbidden Fruit announced four acts in the first wave.

Those acts were Underworld, Loyle Carner, Fatima Yamaha (Live) and 박혜진 park hye jin.

This will be Underworld’s second time playing Forbidden Fruit after taking to the stage in 2016 but for Loyle Carner, Fatima Yamaha (Live) and 박혜진 park hye jin, this will be their first time gracing the festival’s stage.

From hip hop to techno and deep house, the first wave of acts sounds promising and we know good things are still to come.

Over the years the likes of Mura Masa, Flume, Bicep, Tame Impala, Denis Sulta, Peggy Gou and Elbow have taken to the city centre festival and so, we’re excited for what’s to come in 2020.

Tickets for the festival are now on sale here. With special weekend tickets priced at €110 for a limited time only.
