Good News For Stone Roses Fans – They’re Recording New Material

Ellen Tannam

Fans of legendary Manchester band The Stone Roses will be delighted to hear the recently reunited band have been recording new material.

Frontman Ian Brown revealed the news to NME when he was spotted outside music producer Paul Epworth’s recording studio in North London today.

The band had said they were looking at recording again in 2013 but no word had arrived since then until today, when Brown said the rumours of a new album were true.

He described the new music as ‘glorious’.

It would want to be considering their most recent album Second Coming came out in 1994.

The band are due to play Marlay Park in Dublin this July, and we could have new material before then. We’ll keep you posted.
