This weekend homegrown musical heroes The Script play their biggest Irish gig to date to a sold-out Croke Park.

Ahead of the highly-anticipated event, concert promoters MCD have issued instructions to would-be attendees.

Under 14’s are not allowed on the pitch at the venue, even if accompanied, while all Under 16’s attending must be accompanied at all times. Strict age monitoring will take place.

No queueing is permitted before the gates open, so punters who turn up the night before are likely to be turned away and asked to leave the area. Items not allowed on the grounds include umbrellas, garden furniture, banners or flags larger than A4 size and selfie sticks.
