A beautiful video to match an equally stunning voice…

Gavin James is making his mark on the music industry in Europe and across the pond, after recently signing to Capitol Records.

Last year, the 23-year-old rising star released a selection of new material and old songs performed live in a stripped-back environment via Warner Music.

Live at Whelans’ topped the Irish charts and claimed the coveted No.1 slot on the first week of its release.

The Dublin crooner has premiered a brand new video for ‘Book of Love‘, a beautiful track taken from the live album.

Filmed in Oxnam California, the video to ‘The Book of Love’ is an adaptation of a short film by director Sam Benenati, which follows a young boy and how his life is shaped by those he loves; from a deceased father to a brother, mother and friend.

“We wanted to explore these different aspects of love in in this tiny microcosm”, Benenati explains. “The song is so universal because we all relate to ‘the book of love’ – it’s everyone’s story”.

Gavin returns home next month to play to a sold-out Olympia Theatre, Dublin on Friday March 20th, the first artist ever to sell out the famous venue prior to releasing a studio album.
