The mad scramble for tickets hasn’t yet begun (that happens Thursday) but already fans are demanding more Ed Sheeran dates at Croke Park.

The Thinking Out Loud singer spoke to Today FM this morning about the possibility of further dates, saying: “It looks amazing. I’ll see how the first one sells and maybe we can discuss it, I don’t know yet”.

Ed, who recently celebrated his 24th birthday, also spoke to the radio station about last summer’s Garth Brooks debacle – when five concerts were cancelled after objections from local residents.

He still believes multiple concerts could go ahead though, saying: “I don’t think there’s a problem, I think you’re allowed three gigs a year in Croke Park.”

Tickets for Ed’s July 24th date in Croker go on sale this Thursday,  February 26th, at 9am.
