It’s official – the Sugababes are reforming and recording new material

FINALLY...

Rebecca Keane

They’re recording a new album which is set for release in 2017.

There are a few 90s bands that had that serious magic about them – Spice Girls, All Saints and of course the Sugababes.

Many disputed the different line-ups of the Sugababes over the years, between members Keisha, Mutya, Siobhán, Heidi, Amelle and Jade leaving and rejoining – it’s been one rocky road.

It’s great news to us that the original threesome – Keisha, Mutya and Siobhán have decided to bring out an album.

The trio have reformed before, performing under the title of MKS however their only single, Flatline didn’t bring any album or other hits to fruition.

Speaking to Wandsworth Radio at London Pride, Siobhán Donaghy of the group was happy to confirm that the original Sugababes trio are back with a vengeance.

In a clip that was recorded and uploaded to Tumblrthe singer admitted Sugababes would have a new record out in 2017 and after a break, the three girls are ready to bring us some pop bangers.

Fans on Twitter couldn’t contain their excitement for the original babes to finally release their long awaited album.

While Keisha, Siobhán and Mutya last released music as MKS, I can only hope they reclaim the iconic Sugababes name once more.
