Janet Jackson has announced the postponement of the next leg of her tour so she can start a family.
The singer announced the news in a video uploaded to her Twitter account saying:
“We’re in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you be the first to know.”
Jackson and her husband Wissam Al Mana want to have children, and Jackson continued: “My husband and I are planning our family. So I’m gonna have to delay the tour.”
“Please, if you can, try and understand that it’s important that I do this now.”
She added that the cancellation was a medical decision.
“I have to rest up, doctor’s orders, but I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”
