“Top notch live music, big interviews and random shenanigans coming soon.”

Laura Whitmore’s got a new gig as the co-host of YouTube music show, Red Stripe Presents: This Feeling.

The Bray native will begin presenting the online show alongside Gordon Smart later this month, interviewing artists and introducing live performances to the programme’s thousands of regular viewers.

Whitmore announced the news on her own Instagram this morning, saying that she was “very bloody happy” to be taking over the show with fellow music lover, Smart.

“If you can’t tell I’m very bloody happy to present the new series Red Stripe presents #ThisFeelingTV with my fellow music lover @gordonsmart,” she wrote.

“Some top notch live music, big interviews and random shenanigans coming soon.”

Whitmore is due to shoot her first episode of the the latest series of the show in Nambucca music venue in London on April 24.

“Music is a huge part of my life,” she said yesterday.

“From going to see live bands and heading to festivals, to watching unknown talents grow into household names – it’s the best thing about working in this industry!”

Smart added that Whitmore was a great addition to the show.

“She has her finger on the pulse with new bands on the cusp of great things, fantastic relationships with established acts and will no doubt open up the show to a much wider audience,” he said.
