The first line-up announcement has been made for this year’s Body & Soul festival, set to take place on the Summer Solstice weekend, June 20-22, against the backdrop of Ballinlough Castle, Co. Westmeath.
Set to headline the festival English electronic duo Goldfrapp, who released their sixth studio album last September.
Canadian composer Caribou will bring some 1960’s sunshine pop to bring festival-goers, while American singer-songwriter, John Grant is certain to be a crowd pleaser.
Darkside, the new partnership between electronic producer Nicolas Jaar and guitarist Dave Harrington, have joined the line-up too, while Jon Hopkins returns to Body&Soul after last year’s popular show.
Other additions so far include Mount Kimbie, Buraka Som Sistema, Nick Waterhouse, East India Youth, Young Wonder, Jessy Lanza and King Kong Company.
