Meteor Choice Music Prize Celebrates Tenth Anniversary With Mansion House Event

The Riptide Movement, The Divine Comedy and Adrian Crowley are among those who will perform at a special event at the Mansion House tonight to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Meteor Choice Music Prize.

The one-off event will showcase some of best of Irish music, with Julie Feeney, Delorentos and We Cut Corners appearing across two stages in the venue’s Round Room.

The recipient of the award is chosen by a panel of industry experts each year, with a prize of €10,000 provided by The Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) and The Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) for the lucky winner.

“This is a truly unique event, in a spectacular location, which will bring together some of the most celebrated Irish artists of the past ten years. Meteor has been very proud to support the Meteor Choice Music Prize and this gig promises to be a showcase of Irish music like no other,” said Lisa Comerford, Meteor’s Consumer Marketing Director.
